Her latest album, CONVECTA (a nod to stellar convection), brings her signatures together in an authorial work that crosses territories, languages, and collaborations, consolidating a universe of her own.
Trained in physics, she brings astrophysics as a poetic lens to the way she sees, composes, creates, and sings.
Her career includes participation in projects nominated for and winning the Latin Grammy.
She was also honored with the Virgílio Várzea Medal and Certificate of Merit, awarded by the city of Florianópolis.
Marissol also works with the written and spoken word: she is a TEDx speaker and author of the book A Viagem de Nyota (Nyota's Journey), launched in an exclusive session at the Planetário do Carmo (São Paulo).
As a songwriter, she has songs recorded by other voices, including Luedji Luna and Drik Barbosa, among others.
She has also collaborated with artists such as Chico César, Rincon Sapiência, Emicida, Rashid, Alegre Corrêa, François Muleka, Tuyo, and Bebé.
